The appointment will take effect immediately. The decision also means that the three former chief ministers will not be made Leaders of Opposition in their respective States and have to vacate their home turfs to serve as the party’s face in the Centre led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.BusinessLine, had on January 4, reported this change in the news item titled “BJP Fans Reports of Change of Guard in M.P., Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh”.
