Let us know what you like about Geek by taking our survey. Village Vanguard is a retailer in Japan that consistently pumps out cute, quirky, and often weird pieces of merchandise that you wouldn’t see anywhere else. It’s meant for novelties like anime-themed goodies, flavored curries, and even shirts that make it look like you’re wearing a wet swimsuit beneath your clothes. But the latest product from the store may take the cake in terms of weirdness: a miniature lace bra meant to be worn as an eye mask. The lacy bra has decorated straps, cups, and plenty of details that make it look like an expensive piece of lingerie. It looks just like a tiny bra for a doll at that, albeit shaped a little weirdly. The two bra cups cover the wearer’s eyes, “healing eye cups” that actually feature fragrance as well, like the smell of feminine soap to really make you feel like you’ve plucked a bra off of a woman and have wrapped it around your face…if that’s something you’re interested in doing for some reason. That’s what this product is all about, anyway, let’s be perfectly honest.Source: Village VanguardLooking at the bra mask from behind, it’s missing a traditional bra closure with hooks, which might be a deal breaker for some, but if you’re wearing a bra mask for some reason, you should probably take what you can get at this point. And it’s already selling out. The Brassiere Eye Mask, its “proper” name, is coming to Village Vanguard stores instead on November 3, in white, blue, and pink colors so you can color coordinate with your outfits for the day. Each masks costs about $17.10, which is a small price to pay to give up your dignity, but if that’s what you’re into, that’s what you’re into. And hey, as a woman I might even be interested in checking one of these out to sleep in, even if it’s just to confuse people. Clearly eyes are not breasts, last time I checked.
