The Department of Energy and Stealth Ventures Ltd. have agreed to extend the review of the company’s development plan by 60 days. The extension will give the department adequate time to fully review additional technical information that it recently requested. The minister of energy will now have until Oct. 25 to make a decision on whether the company will receive a production agreement. Stealth Ventures Ltd. is a Canadian junior oil and gas company. The company has been acquiring and developing prospects for producing natural gas from coal, also referred to as coal-bed methane. Stealth has submitted a development plan for a production agreement in its Cumberland block.
